These 1g blocks contain a carefully measured balance of calcium, minerals and essential nutrients to supplement your shrimp (and invertebrates) usual diet. They contain entirely natural ingredients including spirulina, chlorella algae and pure aragonite with no artificial colours or flavours. They will also aid in the maintenance of natural balanced water mineral levels that will benefit your pets health.
They are 100% safe for all aquarium life including invertebrates, filter feeders, plants and all small mouthed fish and fry (cold, temperate, tropical, fresh water and salt water).
Recommended as a regular addition to your pets diet for ultimate long term health benefits. The food contained within the blocks is released slowly and will not cloud the water. They provide high amounts of Vitamin D3 (essential for processing of Calcium) and Vitamin E (essential for carapace replacement and molting). They contain pure spirulina, among the richest nutrient sources on the planet. Spirulina has a high percentage of protein and iron, as well as all eight essential amino acids; potassium; zinc; calcium; vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6 and B-12. Spirulina also has a high percentage of beta-carotene, essential for healthy immune systems and colouration. So even when your pet isn’t nibbling, he will still benefit from the health boost blocks.
These blocks do not increase nitrate or nitrites. It is recommended that any block remaining after 7 days should be removed and a new one added.

Calcium also helps in healing and stress, and without proper calcium levels healing may be difficult or impossible.
